drabble post!

Idiot. He was a complete and total fool. Which ‘he’ he meant, Fai couldn’t even begin to guess. He shouldn’t be here, right? He was destined to be caged once again for being weak. But instead, here he was now. In the ninja’s home world; waiting for the man to awaken from his wounds. The night is cold, but not as cold as the feeling the mage felt on the inside. Kurogane’s sacrifice heavy on his mind. Why would the tall man do such a thing for such a weak person? Perhaps Fai was the fool instead. For thinking it was OK to hate the man for preventing his death those months ago. Kurogane deserves better now. For finally freeing him of his past.

“Fai-san?” a female voice broke Fai out of his revere. “He has awakened.”

Fai didn’t turn to face the female. He only gripped the balcony railing harder. “Thank you, Souma-san.”

Fai stood there for a few more moments to collect his will. Then he walked into the room where Kurogane’s bandaged form lay. The two men’s eyes meet for an instant. Fai approaches the bed where the ninja lay and hesitated a moment, before punching Kurogane upside the head with his left hand.

“OI!” the dark man balked. But Fai merely chuckes.

“That's my revenge, ‘Kuro-sama!’”

Kurogane’s eyes widen a moment at the sound of the nickname. He then smirks at the smaller man, dressed in a fancy kimono.

“I’ll get you for that!” he shouts, with a small chuckle.

The two men simply smile at each other as a princess looks on, a smile playing on her face as well.

This juts came to me and I hAD to write it. but i dont really like how this came out. its weird...

Im also trying to write other kurofai fics but im just not getting there. Please R&R. no flames tho.
